I don't know how much truth there is to it butd the Echo are reporting we want a loan deal rather than a sale, but would consider a sale at a 'bumper price'. Do we still think that he might have a future here and just needs PL experience, or do we feel that we need him to have a good loan move to get a decent fee?

I feel a bit sorry for him because he has barely played for the last 2.5 years so I would have loaned him out before now.

How much did we pay for him in the end? Was it about £8m?
