any ideas how much we agreed with chelsea as a transfer/compensation fee.

hopefully a good loan spell will see us then being able to sell him for 15-20m and then put this into the kitty for a proper player.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Last year we were praising him for his mobility, workrate, touch and finishing ability. He's still 2 years younger than Lewandowski when Klopp signed him and even then I don't think he did much in his first season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

yeh maybe solanke is a late developer?
trouble is we really need 1st team ready players in the squad, even if they are 'younger' so if they are not up to standard then its a loan or sell.
i thought he might be ready to step up to the next level but he seems a little lost out there.

id prefer these young lads to get a solid 2-3 years out on loan and then come back really 1st team ready.
harry kane spend about 15 years around **** clubs perfecting his 'dribbling' skills.

As someone said in another fred. Its rare that youngster, say under 22 breaks into a team and stays there. His time will come, he and those watching him just have to have a little patience

Stop providing a rational opinion FFS......

Dominic is ****in ****e. Will never be good enough and we should accept that he has done everything he will do and will NEVER be good enough. He is probably going to end up at MLS football before long. So ****e that we should make a stupud and derogatory nickname for him like ****-n-lanky or Big **** Dom.......or Stinky Slinky Dom-Dom.....

I think most comments were based on his appearances for England youth side and maybe some friendly games for us. Think he got a goal vs Brighton but I would be wrong.

IMO he has looked cumbersome and a bit lost. I am not writing him off as a player, he is still young but clearly the kid needs game time & he is not going to get that here as he isn't nowhere good enough at the moment.

Patience is a form of intelligence. One explains the other.
                  Are we winning?

Rating his ability or potential is subjective, I was specifically pointing out his attributes on paper aren't too dissimilar to those of a young Lewandowski, bar maybe the pace, so you can't really rule him out as not being a Klopp player.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

At the moment he looks like a young Tony Cascarino. He needs games elsewhere to improve and maybe we 'll be able to judge if he is good enough after a loan spell. At the moment he's not even close.

He doesn't look anything like Cascarino
