    Crouchie baby!!!

    Good times.
It was the indignity of it for them. All their cooing about their beautiful football and it's Peter Crouch who pisses all over their chips whilst tipping his hat to their wives with a cheeky wink. The ****ers.

        Goal incoming tonight.

I’d cash in, but I’m sure there are plenty who wouldn’t

Keep. There’s a player in there & he’s doing ok except for scoring. That’ll come I’m sure.

I think that he needs games he hardly played for us last year and he was supposedly frozen our at Chelsea in his last season so he hasn't really developed in the last 2 years, for me a loan move makes sense for his development, be we need to ensure we have adequate backup.

Kid isn't good enough for our squad at the moment, desperately needs a loan move to develop.

He could have gone down that route by staying at Chelsea, which he obviously didn't want to do.

I don't know that that is the reason he left Chelsea. I get that he backs him ability but realistically he's never going to establish himself just with minutes from the bench at a club like us (or Chelsea), without getting more experience somewhere on loan.

If he didn't want loan moves, he should probably have moved to a club where he would have got regular games from the start and developed there before making the step up. If he stays on the fringes of our squad and has no other first team experience he's going to waste a few years of his career before taking that step back anyway.

IMO young players need game time, and it is the ones who are on the fringes of the squad that end up suffering the most (too good to go out on loan, but not good enough to start regularly - they end up just starting a handful of cup games and maybe coming of the bench in the league for 15mins every other week).

                            Spot on.
A couple of years ago jurgy was so against loaning out our upcoming lads hut now he has seen how its essential to giving them more games and competitive football.
These loan deals where they must get 75% of game time allow for realistic development and much better than a few minutes off the bench.

A year at a club like Aston villa would be perfect for Solanke. It would be a big club where fans expectations are to win every game......he would get game time as well.

Unfortunately for Solanke he does seems completely the opposite to what Klopp wants in a striker. He looks so far off the quality we need.
