Yep, he's been run into the ground by Klopp over the years. Tsimikas should have played a lot more to rest Robbo, but just doesn't seem to be the way Klopp operates. He will play his favourites no matter what.
He's been an excellent player for us, but his form has regressed massively. He has been shocking this season and he was pretty awful last year too. It's time to shift him to the back up role and get some new legs there IMO.
If we're going to play this shift the ball around the back style we've been doing then he is a massive weak link. He is strictly left foot only and anything that doesn't allow him to hit a first time ball on his left is always sent backwards to Virgo, across goal to a midfielder who is usually under pressure because its blatantly obvious he's going to pass there or he panics and slices it out for a throw in. He just doesn't have the close control and ability to play with both feet that you need for that.
His crossing, which was one of his main strengths has also seemingly gone to ****, and I think that's more to do with being thrashed for 5 seasons and his legs going.
