I thought he was OK going forward but just spotted last night he's had 2 assists last season and none this. Looks like he's been hooked from corners also.

Those images i posted though, that's more galling, he's three metres behind the line and the attempt to block the cross was woeful. I think he's back up material this season tbh, not next.

I agree with Buzzo that he had had some better games recently but his form has been up and down for the past couple of seasons, he's been nowhere near as reliable as he had been in the past he has been caught out a few times with some silly mistakes. Not sure how he can adapt to the new style of play. He's been a great player for us but I suspect we will be looking for a new LB in the summer.

I had wondered a few games ago if playing Gomez there might have been worth a try, he did really well there last season, but he was cover for CB as well and is now injured.

I think they need to be rotated - it had seemed that Tsmikas was getting more game time until Jan but since his injury Robbo carried the brunt of the workload, I personally think in the main he did so well, but I do agree that the Everton game he looked slightly cooked.

It’s a position that requires reinforcements for sure, but obvs we will have to have months of internet hyperbole until the end nd of the season.

I think people writing him off have been premature. He'll never be the same player as 5 years ago but he is way more composed on the ball than the chicken without the head.

Said in the match thread. I think he needs to mentor Kerkez. Kerkez has the skill but isn’t where we need him to be tactically. When to go when to stay and how to be an out ball. Robbo is pretty solid on the ball and can pass out for us which I’ve not seen yet much from Kerkez.

He’s not being overplayed like previous seasons which is definitely going to help him.
