It's the expanding way we play. We are never going to be an outstanding team defensively under Klopp. It's all about the other end of the pitch and dominating games when we have the ball. Historically, Klopp never had outstanding defensive teams. We've got to take the rough with the smooth.

I'm with Carragher. We set ourselves up for our CBs to face one on one's/two on two's on the break, of course it's going to end in carnage so often.

Neither of the goals came from them situations though.

I agree with Carragher. One player isn't helping us. We're fundamentally flawed in how we set up. VVD would help of course, as he's better than both our CBs but he isn't a silver bullet.

Not all no. But having **** players & not bothering to upgrade them is defo at least 50% of the issue.

To play this system with 2 high fullbacks you need

A dedicated holding player

Centrebacks comfortable going outside the trams

That's before you even get to our set pieces

Why do I do this to myself every season - we look like a bunch of guys who have never met each other before. Our defence is and continues to be shocking, our midfield is light weight and can't control the game, our captain hides in plain sight and can't run and our forwards are brilliant but we can't get the ball to them.

Leyton said it - after 5 mins you know with us - so today we have the still in bed version of Liverpool - sigh
