Who needs trophies anyway when you have £25m from Western Union. That's what really needs celebrating.

The players just don't look like they have the appetite or composure for the job. Something isn't right at all.

These are the things that matterOriginally posted by breffniboy View PostLet's look on the bright side. We got 25m from western union and the corporate seats in the new stand are a big success and the refurbished club shop is increasing turnover steadily. Everything is fine!
Why don't we get PL points for them?

So static, too many aimless long balls and no intensity in closing down :/

Before the game I was a bit worried about the link between midfield and attack but I didn't think it would be that bad. Henderson looks miles off first team fitness and the others aren't dominating themselves either.

Midfield really lacks that creative player like Coutinho, there is no-one there who plays through balls or penetrating passes, they are just player who keep things ticking over when we have the ball.Originally posted by Venton View PostLeaving aside the obvious comedy moments at the back that we know we've been capable for quite a while now, we didn't seem to gel the midfield or attack there. We had that in the first half loads of times last season and turned it around so I'm hopeful we can do it again. Be nice to get it right from the start more often though

No. We weren't prepared. No organisation. All coaching related.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostCan our defensive issues really be all about the players? We've been through a fair few and they all suffer the same issues.
Sure VVD could come in and organise things on the pitch but the work off it looks like its been completely ineffective or rubbish.
