Being back in Rome was probably odd for him. I think he wants to do everything to get us where we need to be.

He is getting in the same great positions, but is definitely at times making choices which are about him scoring rather than the team scoring.

A legendary season obvs, one of the best I have ever witnessed. And not scoring for two games when he bangs in at least one most weeks is hardly a big issue, but he will continue to get more goals this season if he concentrates on continuing to play his normal game, rather than on breaking any records.

The Roma games also must have been a strange experience for him.
It could be more of the same this weekend then, considering he'll be up against an old employer. Looks like he'll need to get himself a hattrick against Brighton to beat Rushie's scoring record.

And a brace in the final

Somehow I doubt a handful of games for Chelsea is the same as two full seasons with Roma which saw big returns and improvements in his game.

I assume he enjoyed his time at Roma and was probably frustrated at Chelsea not idead how he feels about them. But I imagine he would be more likely to celebrate if he scores against them at the weekend
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Bound to be tired also. Probably no coincidence that Mané was our best player last night after his rest at the weekend.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                Slightly harsh imo.

He wasn’t at his best last night but understandable considering the opponent and the circumstances.

Yeah, it is unbelievably harsh. It’s just weird seeing him have anything short of an amazing match.

Great that Mane stepped up his performance to help out.

He wasn't at his best and to me even Firmino was off his usual level. Mane was our best forward player

But still contributed a lovely assist and was alive to the blind pass. Also had a decent shot saved by Allison, provided by Salah.

                        He looks knackered.
That was probably his worst performance all year.
He is being a bit more selfish lately.
I think he more than arguably any other player could do with a rest, mentally and physically.

The problem is he's still chasing records so he'll want to play every minute.

Still, not a bad problem to have

He wasn't good yesterday, definitely is tired. Despite his supposed selfishness, he could have ended up with 2 assists. The one where he faked a shot and played Bobby through was incredible. No one can be fantastic each game, think that even bringing it up is a little harsh.

I don't think he was tired at all. He was just a bit isolated with Firmino and Mane dropping deeper. Different starting position from the front three away from home, the performance was natural for me.

The one thing I did notice, this was the second game in a row where he has lashed out, so perhaps he needs to calm down a little but he'll be firing again come the final. No doubt at all.

Incredibly, his pitch side interview was the first time I've heard him talk all season!

He's so confident but not cocky, he really backs himself without coming across as arrogant. No wonder he performs on the pitch. I genuinely feel he feels at home here and would stay for years.

I disagree. I thought he still looked injured second leg against City because he wasn't tracking back, but I'm now wondering if that was fatigue. Also some pundit highlighted how he's changed his game to be 'more like Messi' because he wasn't getting involved in matches until the ball broke to him, so again I'm wondering if this is intentional as he doesn't have the legs at this stage to put in the defensive work he was doing earlier in the season.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I still hope his minutes are managed for the last two games and he comes back fully refreshed after his 2 week break.
