yip.....i am not suggesting that he will be sold in Jan....just that if it gets beyond the next transfer window and he hasn't signed a contract, then it gets trickier. Essentially he could be working his notice then because I can't see LFC doing a "Gini" and letting Mo go into the final season without a deal being signed.

Ideally, of course. I’m sure FSG would agree, but it’s not necessarily that simple. We don’t know what the hold up is, but if it’s a £10m release clause then that would be problematic. If it’s money and it’s more than we can afford, then that’s problematic. We just have no idea so there’s no point guessing at the moment.

He’s the best player in the world, and if it turns out that without oil money or hand chopping sovereign wealth funds we can’t afford to employ the best player in the word, then so be it. If, when the details eventually emerge, they tell a different story that doesn’t reflect well on FSG then they’ll deserve criticism.

The way Klopp spoke about it, it kinda sounded like most of the details had been worked out and they were just ironing out the kinks.

Problem is he is probably the best in the world, and we probably cant afford ro make him the best paid player. Been stung before by Macca and Owen. Difference is we are best in the world, or there abouts.
