Think you were watching a different game. Are you sure you don’t mean ‘Haaland’?

He was majestic compared to Jota, at times Salah was triple marked. In the first half he fought quite hard. Execution (understanding) between the front 4 wasnt amazing.

Jota was really bad, he lacks any sort of match sharpness. Gakpo has some nice touches, but... Nunez was working hard but his touch can be so heavy at times - his biggest asset is his pace - but he lacks the ability to time runs.

It would be amazing if someone was making a really strong case for keeping Salah out, but it is not happening...he is always involved and even though his end product is really erratic, he remains our most involved attacker.

The good news is apparently Diaz could be in the mix for our game v City.

Think a big part of that is how bad we are at finding the runs of any of our attackers this season. Like Gakpo and Salah, he loses his marker a lot and makes diagonal runs a lot only to see a midfielder have to put a foot on the ball, look around, then look around some more before passing sideways.

He also has a hell of a lot of pace that we do not seem to exploit as often as we maybe should.

Do think that playing him out wide left curbs a lot of his better qualities as it takes away the more instinctive side of his game that he looks to have when played in the centre of the attack.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Scored again, missed pen, should have had 3, had loads of the ball but imo he was the worst player on the pitch, incrediblly wasteful, slow and his first touch wtf.

His dribbling, shooting and passing have all been mediocre at best this season regardless where he is on the pitch.

Time to sell him to PSG.

He was quadruple-marked and Harvey Elliiot kept getting in his way when he did break free. Plus he still hasn't recovered from Pep's book launch. Give the guy a break.

                              Has to be sold.

Chewing up a huge wage and there can be no doubts his star is fading now.

He was absolutely awful today. His touch is gone, he dribbles into players constantly, his passing (unless its backwards to Hendo) is garbage and his shooting has gone to ****.

You cant keep that in your side when you need to rebuild quickly.
