With regards to my post I don't really think there was anything too controversial in it.

Mo is a club legend, he will go down as an all time club great. He is one of the very best I have seen in any shirt.

But he has had a poor season, he has played his own part in the team having a poor season (not unique to him of course) and he has, imo, been disruptive with his outbursts.

And for me I do find it a bit rich when an under performer comes out and complains about perfromances/levels and then tries to make out that he was built for (and I assume that means ready for) playing at a high level.

If you are involved in anything, don't care if it is sports, work or just within a social circle, then don't be the one coming out with the list of complaints and digs unless you are in no way part of why there are things worth complaining about. I just think this season he has been a part of our problems and that this "rallying" battle cry is just a way to point the finger away from himself and firmly at Slot.


And fair enough, Slot DOES deserve criticism for a lot of things this season. No doubt about that at all and I suspect he will fall on his sword because of those things. Fully expect a mutual consent type statement in the coming days or weeks.

However Mo has been one of the poor performers and one of the whingers this season. So he deserves his own share of criticism for this season and if he wants to point the finger at Slot and others for the negative stuff, then he should have his own performances this season looked at and get to own any criticisms that arise from them.


Slot for me is an easy target for Mo's little social media PR stunt. Lest we forget he had his tantrums under Klopp too but those were easier for us as a fanbase to overlook as we just automatically sided with Klopp and also because we were generally a much stronger team (which Mo was a big part of causing too) so less by way of **** results to get us siding with the tantrums.

He's clearly got the agreement and backing of a large section of the squad too on how things have been behind the scenes.

I agree, this is Salah, with nothing to lose, taking one for the team, with their approval. The likes of Robbo and Jones, players who’ve been there and done it are liking the post, and the new players who were baited and switched in the summer are liking it too. The dressing room has been lost, or at least the players are not at all comfortable with the direction, and the club are in denial. Mo has shown some leadership with the pressure off him and said what he thinks needed saying for the good of the club. Is it unprofessional to do it and before the last game, yes it is, but that’s a luxury of working your notice, you can not give a ****.

I’m all for this and it hopefully adds some scrutiny / pressure at the top in a good way.

If everyone at the club had Mo’s standards then we’d be in a much better place for it. He wants to be the best and wants the best for the club as well. A total legend.

I think people forget that the players literally live and breathe the club for ten years. Their engagement and passion is way higher than our own, much as we may assume or like to think it’s not.

They are well paid but they’ve sacrificed a lot and worked insanely hard to deliver our dreams.

To do so for a decade and note that it’s a complete binfire when you leave has to hurt.

He’ll get slated by some for this. But it’s what we are all thinking.

Difference between folk like us thinking it and Mo saying it, is that he was in a position to actually do something about things on the pitch.


He was **** this season, utter **** . He whinged to the media a number of times, had his tantrums and had his agent bitch for him as well.


Would say something if it even looked like he was working his arse off on the pitch and being the heavy metal footballer he claims he wanted to be, but he did not.

All time great for LFC, genuine club legend, one of the best to every wear the shirt, however this season he has let himself down badly both on and off of the pitch imo.

His legacy is secure. He has been too good for anything else, but this season he needed to either perform and make his comments or perform badly and shut the hell up due to being part of the problems.


All I see when I read comments like his is that it is an outgoing player getting as many digs in as he can on the way out and making sure he goes out a "hero" as he is saying what he knows most of the fans want to hear.

Mo is right in what he is saying but I do feel this is more about him. He has history of throwing the toys out and he shouldn't have done this before the last game of the season. The guy is LFC legend and clearly he has taken this under whelming season and his poor performance under Slot very personally. He is probably resentful because this last season is a stain on his LFC career and a bit of a damp squib.

We just need to clean house, a big clear out and start from scratch.. this is a bit toxic and such a mess. Heads should roll. I genuinely think Slot has set us back years or maybe that transition post Klopp was inevitable. Getting a new manager in that the players respect and enjoy player for is pretty ****ing essential.

I am torn on this tbh. On the one hand, I share Salahs frustrations and then some. Christ we have been so ****in terrible. On the other hand, this is rhe same Mo Salah who fell out with Jurgen towards the end of his spell and also this is the same Mo Salah who basically came out and wanked publicly about how Slot tweaked things last year, had him tracking back less, and credited him with allowing Mo have a brilliant season last year.

If we lose at home to Brentford then surely the whole thing is untenable. I can see someone like MacAllister putting in a transfer request as well.


Or maybe Jurgen is coming home??? That would be epic, and would also explain Salah leaving a year early (cos Klopp wouldn't want him in the squad when he can't play every week) and why LFC were so quiet on Alonso. Im clutching here but I need something ffs
