He's actually playing at the level I expected of him when he first came before he went into god mode.

You can leave it to the match to ruin a decent night out...!Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostWatched it in hotel foyer with a French dude who happened to be a PSG fan. Now lives in Vienna with his wife and son. With his French Caribbean roots we shared a love of rum. That's why I like to travel. Meeting different folk. Shame we were complete ****.
Enjoy the rest of your break.Modifying post.

If that's the case is it worth a 3 week rest? Is it something that would require months off? Is it actually fixable? Is it in his head?Originally posted by kingfunk View PostNoticed at the end of the game he is still wearing a shoulder strap. Obviously not fully recovered.
He just seems to turn the wrong way every single time. It's weird. I'm hoping it's just confidence. Just be our luck to think we have a world beater only to discover he's merely an alright to decent player who was massively over achieving.
The French dude asked me a similar question. Was last year us at our absolute best? Or do we expect similar again. I said we expect to kick on but he was doubtful.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Out of form is totally over the top. He still has scored 3 goals this season. The standards he set for himself due to what he achieved last year are obviously very high. He's the victim of that really and we expect maybe too much of him at the moment, especially when we are not functioning fully in an attacking sense. If that was the case, I bet you he wouldn't have felt the expectations that much and would be easing his way back.
I have no doubts he'll be back to somewhere near his best soon enough. He's not far off and only needs his confidence back. Are we winning?

he will never "be back" until we burn and scatter the remains of the corpse of ramosthecunt and then the spell is lifted.Originally posted by Cormack74 View PostHe'll be back. It's not as if he was **** when we signed him.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

His performances this season have ranged from ok, to meh, to awful. He's playing like ox did when he first came, losing the ball, running straight in to defenders, picking the wrong options and generally looking out of his depth. His shooting has been almost comically bad. This is the PL record goalscorer. It's pretty much the definition of out of form.Originally posted by Fredo View PostOut of form is totally over the top.
