I will have completed my mastery of all things footy via my extensive and instensive Fifa training. Mastered it from Fifa98 right up to Fifa22 so I reckon I probably know as much about building a team now as Frank Lampard.

If it's about money, I'm torn between 'best player in the world' and 'greedy cunt'.

FWIW I think he wants to go to RM or Barca. Nothing to do with how he feels about Liverpool or money, just wants to try a different league with one of the biggest clubs in the world. If that's the case, all good.

He's been amazing for us and I get that he wants to be recognised as the best player in the world right now... but I also have sympathy with LFC board as you just can't break the existing wage structures and risk bringing financial instability to the club...

He should be paid what he's worth, but not at the expense of the long-term financial security of the club. If he goes, he goes... I just think it's one of those situations where both parties are never going to close the gap without some severe compromises.

I'm more comfortable with the situation now we have Jota and Diaz... Salah's been absolutely immense but the fact we're thinking about transitioning the team and putting players in place to do that, gives me cause for optimism (yes, Buzzo I am being optimistic...)
