Could be worse, he could be at Spurs.

So he’s always trying to engineer a move, unless he’s already got one lined up?Originally posted by baitman View PostHis agent is always mouthy trying to engineer a move, but I reckon his silence is the telling factor. I think mo goes in this window, probably to psg.
And yet, Salah has been here for 6 years

He seems really loyal to me, he genuinely seems to love the club and want to break every possible record. He has never once agitated for a move, he is always fit. Bangs in 20-30 goals every season.
Yet it’s never enough for some
.
I took his tweet as a real show of commitment.Modifying post.

Same. I think he’s pissed off and he wants to put things right by competing and winning things again next season. But by doing that here, not by running off to another club.Originally posted by Buzzo View Post

I think most LFC fans realize that Mo has been world class for us. It doesn't mean he shouldn't be sold. Ruthless managers have sold world class players before, but there has to be a strong plan in place in terms of making the team stronger without the world class player you are selling.Originally posted by danperkins View PostWhen he leaves we'll all realise just how good he was for LFC. A genuine world class talent.

He's probably going to leave for free in 2 years then, how do we all feel about that?Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostWho knows what happens with Salah this summer, and if a club decides to test the waters.
Two years left on his deal, and he's going to be 31 in the summer, playing in the Europa League, with potentially 3 oil state backed clubs in the league next year.
Whether he stays or goes, I wouldn't be surprised either way.

I have no issue with him leaving for free at the end of his contract. He's been a great servant and if he continues to perform like he has done for the next 2yrs then great.
Saying that, if we could sell him in the summer and get a younger, like for like replacement for the the same (or ideally lower) value then that would be great. Not sure if that's a realistic scenario though, especially without CL footy next year.
How much would Salah go for anyway? £80-£100m this summer, £60-70m next summer?

Agree, if his goals mean CL Football then has to be the way forward.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI’d take his goals ahead of the cash.
As we’ve seen with Nunez signing a 20 plus goals and 10 assists per season guy who doesn’t need a year or 2 to acclimatise is not as easy as all that.
