He is still doing the biz, but I think we need to take a long term view. If they come in with 100m next summer, we should consider the merits then, or lose him for nothing next summer. But he has started the season well, albiet in a different role as a provider.

Want to see him in a full strength side, playing well (alongside Gakpo).

He was great when he came on, but it should be tempered by the context of coming on late when half of their team were clearly struggling fitness wise and gaps had started to open up, and having Dom and Macallister in midfield.

I’d have liked to see him celebrate somewhat after his goal- it was an important goal that put the game to bed. I know it’s not the competition we wanted to be in, but it’s not like it’s a pre season tournament either.

Also, if he has no inclination to celebrate after scoring in Europa league, then surely he has no business going to the Saudi league, any time soon

Nothing to do with EL IMO, he's reacted like that after other goals, including Villa a few weeks ago. Plus, after the opposition mocking his celebration during Internationals, maybe he thinks he's too old now for a stupid celebration.

I'm sure we'll see the shirt off again though next time United come to town.
