The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
he might not be peak Salah anymore but 80% Salah is still better than 99% of players in this any league
What he is doing imo is increasing how much it would cost to buy him (if he wanted to leave and the club wanted to sell) despite his contract running down.
The silly money it would have taken to get him has now gotten even sillier.
No lose situation for Liverpool.
He wants to go, then it takes maybe a world record transfer fee to get him.
He wants to stay to the end of his contract, we get a still world class player for that time.
He wants to extend his contract by a year or two, we get a still world class player for that span of time.
For as long as he keeps putting up numbers that rival or better the best in the game, you find a way to fit him into your team.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

It’s also not true that he is less productive, or there are signs of decline other than his first season he has proven to be incredibly consistent. He does not have the same explosive pace, he has just adapted his game.
He is well on track this season to post similar, and is only 5 goals from his tally when we won the league. How his form is affected by the afcon is probably the only real worry.
Feel with Salah that his assists need to be listed along with his goals due to the perception that he is an overly greedy player and not a creator.
When his assists get added to his goal tallies, his numbers are insane and then you have to take into account that he did all that from the right flank for the most part and not from a more central starting attacking position

Yeah they don’t have them on wiki and I cba locating I think they will be increasing year on year.
He's 31 now, he'll be 32 in the summer, he has 1 year left on his contract, so he'd have just turned 33 when his contract expires, unless he his form drops off massively in the next 18 months he'll still be playing at the top level, even if he has lost some pace, I think he still has a couple of years beyond that playing at a really high level (hopefully with us), surely from his point of view he would be mad to go somewhere like Saudi before he's at least 35.

So it seems to check out (missed games in 2021 due to ACN) and missed some in 2020 due to Covid. Link to no of missed games through injury (although these are all comps) https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moha...spieler/148455 He may also have been rested once or twice too which wouldn't be included
This is some assist. The vision here is next level. The defence just don’t see this coming.on a plate for Gakpo to scuff it home somewhat ruining the aesthetic
