It’s all covered in the thread linked above. I think doing this season with £200m in our pocket instead would have been better for us long term.

Perhaps but the other factor is that Salah is under no obligation to go anywhere while he has a contract with us.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt’s all covered in the thread linked above. I think doing this season with £200m in our pocket instead would have been better for us long term.
So we'd have no extra money AND a ****ty player on our hands.
No, I think we've played it well."We oil the jaws of the war machine and feed it with our babies."

He has been a great servant - I still reckon he will see his contract out. Cant see us wanting to force him out of the door.
We need to rely less on him, thats the bigger issue.Modifying post.

Hindsight is 20:20, but it turns out you were right.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt’s all covered in the thread linked above. I think doing this season with £200m in our pocket instead would have been better for us long term.
Mo’s form has fallen off a cliff. The signs were there last season, but I think he had enough credit for us to think he’d come good again.
It is also worth remembering that he could have engineered the move IF he had really wanted to go. My gut feel is he doesn’t want Saudi and he’ll run down his contract and go where he wants on a free next summer. We are here for a good time not a long time....

Even though he was past his elite best there weren't signs that his fall off would be so fast as it has been.
Since the turn of 2024, a mix of injury, form, age and a lack of cuteness in our other forwards has meant we've got an ugly caricature playing for us now.
No longer has pace to beat his man, finishing is totally off the boil and his movement off the ball has dropped off too.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

FWIW... I dont think he has fallen off a cliff. This happened the last couple of seasons, especially with the ACN. He just runs out of energy after a great first half of a season.
We may get another half season next year of great form... but Id be looking for a replacement now.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

His first touch has abandoned him completely as well.Originally posted by Rich View Post

No, whats embarrassing is seeing a player, thats been playing like **** for 6mths (more if you actually watch the game instead of look at g+a's) arguing with the manager on the touch line and telling him to **** off because he has the ego the size of the moon and cant handle being benched.Originally posted by fidget View PostHarv that's entitled and embarrassing
Makes us a ****ing laughing stock is what it does. Klopp made all these entitled little pricks what they are. Show the guy some ****ing respect."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
