I'd give them both 3 year deals heavily incentive based. In fact, I'd almost give them deals where if they are still performing in the 3rd season (x amount of games for example) the 4th year automatically kicks in.

Both could fall off a cliff in terms of ability in say, 18 months time, but the anfield wrap guy made a good point a few weeks back, both of these guys aren't staying to sit on a bench for a year or so. They are both top drawer and would want to be playing every week even at a lesser club. So if they do end up doing a hendo and being not as good, they ain't going to hang around

I don't agree with that, they'll be mid thirties on massive wages that nobody will match. Maybe Saudi for Salah, but maybe not by then.

Thats why I'd make them heavily incentive based as mentioned. Basically say to the players "if ye think ye can still perform at the same level, then the platform is there to do it"

Otherwise we are in a big year of transition next season no matter how well this one pans out
