Yeah I’m really disappointed that none of the 3 contracts have been sorted yet. I do expect Mo & Virg to stay but the longer it takes the worse it looks.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.Comment

Its all manufactured to try rile the supporters up and put pressure on the club to cave in to whatever his demands are.
Can almost guarantee he just wants a big pay rise for ~3 years (as if he's not already the biggest earner at the club). Sure he's still producing numbers now, but all it will take is one bad injury and he's a nobbled 33yr old on 400k+ a week crippling the clubs finances for 3 years or whatever he wants.

It’s affecting the team fans and club in absolutely no way whatsoever. If anything it is bringing the best out of hîm. Everyone is different on how they want to handle situation, and he was literally asked with a camera in his face at full time. I agree we have had an absolute bargain, but that list has a lot of recent Chelsea contracts in it which have all been much longer than the 5 year term. They should normalise it for 5 years.
