Former Egypt player Haytham Farouk has sparked rumours that Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has finally put pen to paper on a fresh deal with the club.
Celebrating the news, Farouk tweeted: "Congratulations on renewing your contract with the number you like and the period you want. The Egyptian king rules with his own judgments."

It was quoted in the Mirror, so I thought I'd not pass it on lol
He is one of, if not our greatest (ever) players. But he is 33 next season and we should be paying for the future. He's already been paid for the past. I do hope we keep him as it is pointless to let him go now, for free, but curious to see the terms of any deal (such that we will). It should reflect the risk to the club as well as reflect his value. By risk, I mean if he did a cruciate ligament or something like that, it would likely be game over career wise.

That's the tweet that was translated incorrectly by a few outlets the past couple days.
It apparantly says something along the lines of how his form is so good that the club should be offering him whatever he wants.
Mark69ingthefamily dog has a tweet up in one of the other theads mentioning the proper translation
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness
If it’s true and it’s 2 years I hope there is a club option set in already for a third. He could easily still be performing at a very good level then and you don’t want another long drawn out negotiation.
