He didn’t need to go public with his under the bus comments and sensationalism to get a January move. If he had been an adult about it rather than throwing his toys out of the pram we may have been able to sell him at a premium to Saudi in January.

Personally, I agree that he hasn't directly attacked anyone, and I don't think him speaking out about wanting to play is a crime. I think he felt like he would get more support from fans and the press based on how it went when he spoke out about contract negotiations. But, the crazy egotistical nonsense about being disrespected, about owning his position and not having to fight for it, etc etc, all of that stuff invokes a "**** off you childish prick" response in me. And it's that **** off response that makes me want him out of the club. 'No dick heads' is the rule, and he's failed. Now if he was still peak salah it might be a bit different, but mainly I want better players in the team than Mo Salah in 2025.
