I mean, look at this. Amazing really. Remember under Brendan - and even Rafa a lot of the time - when we hardly ever got a result against the best teams in the league.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think we are at risk of underestimating city here. We do have a good record against them but that in itself is not a good reason to think that we will "rip them apart" tomorrow. I'd be happy with a draw but wouldn't be surprised if either team wins.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

What was the defeat, City in the cup final?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

In a purely footballing sense I'm confident, think we can go there and rip them apart tbh.
Yeah think it's 16 unbeaten v the good sides including cup games, that is utterly ****ing mental and totally not sustainable! But going to enjoy it while it lasts

I was just looking at the table to see how we could possibly go to first place with a win.
United go to Stoke, then home v Everton, away v Saints, then home v Palace before they come here. They're not dropping any points, are they? ****in unbelievable draw.

Same. I'll be going for 2-2, and we could easily lose - they're a top side with loads of very good players. But they will come at us and so it's not hard to envisage us really tearing them apart either. I think our attack gives their defence more headaches than theirs give ours.

They are probably a better version of Pep's Barca, they probably wont drop a point all season if we are honest.

Don't think there's any risk of that from the players or the manager though I'm confident we'll be prepared and that we can thrash them, way more than Burnley next week.

                      From the BBC

Coutinho out of Liverpool squad for City
Man City v Liverpool (Sat, 15:00 GMT)
The first bit of news from Klopp is that Philippe Coutinho will NOT feature against Manchester City this weekend.

Klopp on Coutinho: "We have to prepare him for the rest of the season and that is quite difficult with our fixtures and schedule. He agreed - he didn't want to just play 15 minutes.

Klopp on Oxlade-Chamberlain: "Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain can fit in a few positions. We want to have him on the pitch as often as possible. He is a very good football player which helps a lot. He fits really well in the squad.
                      Oh I don't know.

Not sure where I stand on this. It's good that Klopp is sending a stern message to Coutinho and the rest of the squad, but when I read 'He agreed - he didn't want to just play 15 minutes', I'm thinking, what if we need him for those 15 mins?

Anyway, means Ox should get a decent run out and Woodburn possibly get a cameo to build on his international form.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
