No Klopp is total football but you need 11 very good players starting to execute the game plan. Also, it has to be said, that he inherited a **** set piece side, we've been like this for years, but it must be time now to really rethink that aspect. We have about 4 or 5 set piece takers rather than a dedicated specialist.

Until we can keep clean sheets always going to drop points ,

Only good thing to come out of this surely means the defenders are not here next season.

And if we don't sign a centre back in January we as a team don't give a **** about making us better because it is our most glaring weakness.

Also can we pay another 50 million and get Keita as well

I've ignored the last 2 games and feel the better for it.

same old, cant get into the box against the lower teams, subs too late

sturridge looks finished, i'd have have solanke in the middle. We need someone better to come in for firmino tbh, or a proper replacement for mane/salah

wtf was going on with no one passing to robertson in the first half

proper damp atmosphere, inevitable ****. 4 every winnable points against watford/burnley that would have put us up there, another league season of if, buts and maybes

We had 35 shots on goal.

If we were struggling to make chances I'd be worried.

For them, they follow up 1 bad sequence of defending from us (2 missed headers is unforgivable) and score with their only real chance of note.

We win that game 9 times out of ten, so it's frustrating to again not see a very winnable game out again. We were all over them before half time and should have put them away. I actually thought Sturridge played well, on another day he'd have scored a couple.

Burnley have beaten Chelsea and drawn with Spurs away this season already so they are no mugs.

We need a couple of decent wins to restore morale and belief.

Think you said the same after the Sevilla game Buzzo, scoring goals/making chances not an issue for us. They had 3 shots on target and scored 1 and probably almost got 2 more (great save and goal line clearance) - we are **** at defending and even worse at defending set pieces.

I said that also. If we are solid at the back all game we win 1-0.

We played ok for nearly all of that match. It's the defensive mistakes that cost us goals and points every single game.

Personally, I think we need to decide on our best back four and give them a run of games. Rotate elsewhere.

All of our CBs are ****. The end. Matip included. I'm also willing to admit that I know absolutely **** all about setting up a defense so maybe he's brilliant but he's being ruined by the definite ****ness of Klavan and Lovren. We'll win nothing this way. We'll be cursed with hope when our attack burns teams down but what Citeh did to us will happen again if we get out of the CL group. Our best hope is buying actual good CBs for whatever money it takes. As regards Burnley, who ****in cares. Sometimes a random team has your number or there's a run of games that suggests a pattern but it might just be one of those things. Today's draw isn't really the issue. Our crap defenders are and Klopp quite clearly needs brilliant defenders because his managerial gifts don't include making ordinary defenders bulletproof.

I don't really know what to say about this game. It's the same old story as we've had so many times before, against sides that come to defend we struggle to break them down, I think that we had all hoped that the players that we have brought in would help to change that, and we did create a decent number of chances and should have scored more goals. But again as is typical of us in these types of games we had alot of shots but quite a few were from distance and when we created good chances their keeper was in good form.

Again the defence was leaky and that side of our game was poor again, the goal was just carelessness and a lack of organisation and communication, and the defending from their corners was almost none existant, they had two great chances and we could so easily have lost that game because of that. We need to be able to keep clean sheets in these games, I think that the idea people had about it not mattering if we concede goals because we will score 3 or 4 and win 3-2 or 4-3 has been disproved in so far this season. No matter how good our attacking players are we will always have games where we struggle to score and it is these games that we need to keep a clean sheet. It's games like that one that teams who go on to win the league win 1-0, we aren't capable of doing that.

Player-wise I don't like the constant rotation of the defence and GK, I understand why we are doing it with the fullbacks but I would at least like to see a settled CB pairing and GK, I don't get why Klavan and Lovren swap in and out every game. In attack Sturridge looked way off the pace, so many times he seemed to be walking or standing around rather than running, pressing or chasing, he did some good stuff on the ball but he looks a shadow of his former self, to me watching him yesterday his performace looked like a retired player in a charity match, you could see he had the ability and the brain, but it just looked like he knew his legs couldn't do it. Hopefully that is a fitness issue and he can get back there, but unfortunately he doesn't look like a player that suits our style of play.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If you don't have a dedicated flat track bully you will end up short more often than not. On our day we are unplayable. Yet it isn't our day often enough. It's OK sharing the goals about but an actual striker costs money because they score for a living. We don't have a Costa, Kane or Lukaku. So like arsenal, we struggle over and over. You can't drop Bobby but if he plays out wide he doesn't play.
