It used to be so much more important to me.

I see the angst being posted on here. Legitimately, and I identify with it, from the past. But it's not me anymore. That's not to say that I don't want us to do well. I want us to win the league. That would make me so deliriously happy.

I've spent my adult life in angst about this stuff. The season is over already in regards to winning the league. That's pretty much accepted by everyone. So I'm not wasting another year of my life chasing this unachievable dream.

If we win, then yay! Brilliant. If we lose, then ****. But **** the angst for such a short term gain.

So I'm choosing an easier, happier life for now.

It still means loads to me but after years of **** I’m finally in a good place. I’ll reserve any energies I have to deal with negativity for real world things like my parents’ health cos that’s very much on the horizon at the mo. LFC still have the capability to make me ecstatic but ain’t letting them ruin my mood for days / months on end as in the past.

1. I'm not winding you up. I'm expressing my feelings on this game, which happen to be different to yours. You can have a grown up conversation about it if you like. It's your call.

2. I generally don't visit match threads for any games these days. It happens rarely.

3. I won't be watching the game or in much of a position contribute to the match thread. I might pop in to ask a question about how the game is going. But I suspect that won't be necessary due to reading the content of said thread prior to posting.

4. Matchday thread ban for Roboklopp too, and anyone else that doesn't pass the entry exam?
