He is the leader on the pitch telling someone to watch this run of an opposition player, using their experience to help others around them? Probably easier to do that from the middle of the pitch as a CB/CM than a forward? The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Its incredible. You seem completely incapable of posting anything without having a dig at a random nebulous group of our own supporters. It’s dead odd.Originally posted by BootRoom View Post"Succession Plan" activated!
Some obvious thoughts (to some) from The Manager, prior to the official captaincy announcement, on leadership behind the scenes in light of the alleged all-pervasive influence of "The Former Captain":

Will it be a one or two match ban? Virg did call Brooks "a ****ing joke" if my lip reading skills are correct. Gave Pawson a piece of his mind too as he went off down the tunnel.
If it is for the offence alone then it is a one match ban, if dissent gets added then it could be anything from a two match ban up to as high as a four match ban.
Depends, afaik, on whether or not what VVD said to the ref and then to the fourth official was added to the match report or not.
Think a one match ban we accept, but a much higher one we might appeal to see if we can get it reduced.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
