Pissed and buzzing! Felt like a proper derby that! I've watched Everton a fair few Ines recently and that was the bes I've seen them and I didn't think we were great but that's a hell of a result without salah and coutinho starting

What a start for vvd....don't want to get carried away but I always measure good players from the great on what they do at the big moments....you have some very good players but what separates the greats is the big moments, whether that be a tackle a pass or a save or a goal...the superstars produce when it matters...that's why I rate Gerrard so highly...how many people have scored big goals at crucial times

I know it's early in his career with us but vvd was class today and to score a winner in derby is a big as it comes!

Also thought Robinson was great! Bolasie was Thor stand out threat and coped well and it forward well...I know Moreno had a bit of a in of form but I'd ave Robinson every time

We have a wonderful bunch of moaning pussies in here it appears. Friday night cup tie between two arch enemies. You want passion, tackles, reaction and we got that. I thought we were very average in attack and created little but were clearly the better side. Anybody agreeing that our pen was justified regardless of previous decisions against us is wrong. Lallana cheated plain and simple, no way can an arm cause you to lose your legs at the knee. Ref also clearly got the holgate push wrong and a yellow would have been sufficient.

We got stuck in just like they did. I didn't think Everton crossed the line in anyway apart from that holgate incident.

It seems many want a non contact sport whereby the team with the more talented players are protected by officials to allow them to play the ball around the pitch at will. ****ing boring.

Anyway, Robertson played very well and Virgil is going to be great here. Delighted we won that game.

Went to this one, the atmosphere was electric.

I think In Robertson, the club have found a new finnan, he keeps it nice and simple and was consistent throughout, had Bolasie in his pocket.

Ox swung in some deadly free kicks and holgate should definitely have been carded for the firmino push.

Was nicely positioned to wave off Wayne Rooney after 50 minutes of trying to kick lumps out of the opposition.
