Nothing wrong with what he said. Their players were a pack of animals, not sure why they deserve any respect from him.

MotD showing the fouls on Karius on every single corner. Quite clear as well, just honest mistakes again. I'm sure the FA said they were going to cut this out. They should just do away with the respect campaign, the refs deserve none of it.
So glad a team that plays these tactics are getting relegated. Long die Pulis-ball.One tit for another.

I thought they did that ages ago, I thought it ended about 20 seconds after Mascherano got sent off against Man utdOriginally posted by BigChief View PostMotD showing the fouls on Karius on every single corner. It's unfair to lump Gomez in with Moreno. Gomez is a great defender with fatal concentration flaws. Not something you can train out of a player unfortunately. Moreno on the other hand will give you the ****s for 150 minutes non-stop (90 minutes during the game + 60 minutes beforehand when the official team is announced).Originally posted by SB View PostThat was a train wreck of a performance to watch wasn’t it.
The referee was a disgrace, Higazi should have seen red but what disappointed me the most was our two fullbacks. They were both ****e with a capital S.One tit for another.

Ref was disgraceful.
Moreno should never be close the the first team ever again. He was diabolical. Unfortunately Klavan was almost as bad as Moreno, and we had zero defense on the left.
Hopefully both are sold in the summer.
Gomez did have a shocker, but he is capable of more.

He was ****ing brutal again, I know players and especially him need a run of games to get match fit but that still does not excuse trying to put the ball into row z every single clearance and running the risk of a red card because instead of a nice simple tackle you look like you are drop kicking your opponent and still get nowhere near the ball.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostI hope I never see Moreno play for us again
When he is playing well he is very solid, but he is not the brightest spark and he is not going to change that much going forwardAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

That lazy pass which led to the goal .. really was disappointing. Lets not forget Treat was taking pelters a few weeks back and now he has the key to the city again ... but he needs to get that out of his game sharpish, does that again and the fans will be all over himOriginally posted by fowlen View Post100% agree.

2 points thrown away ... that West Brom player will get a 3 match ban for that ridiculous punch and how the **** the ref can not give a penailty is beyond me, week in week out the referees in the EPL are utterly useless.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

The stream I watched it in had Graeme Le Saux commentating, he said whilst he was fouled he wouldn’t have awarded a pen as he was too far away from the ball..........wft!

What did Klavan do that was so wrong?
As far as I can remember he wasn't at fault for any of the goals and statistically he was our best player. I thought he played quite well. Only incident I can remember was letting the ball run to Karius, if that can be classes as a mistake. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Unfortunately I don't think Gomez is anywhere near being a "great defender"Originally posted by BigChief View PostIt's unfair to lump Gomez in with Moreno. Not only does he lack concentration he's positionally off quite frequently
I also don't think he's strong enough and nor is he good enough in the air to be a centrehalfBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I only saw the first half yesterday.
You could see on a number of times Moreno being positionally miles out, pushing too far, not getting back etc. this meant one of the midfielders was getting drawn in. Our shape without Firmino, Robbo and TAA was really different, and made me realise how well organised we have become.
Moreno also try’s to force the game. Be it playing a % ball instead of the pass that is on, by making runs where he is guaranteed to be miles out of position and this again affects our shape. I’ve never known a player to try and go ‘all in’ on a tackle so often only to either miss the ball, or take only a bit of it turning it into a dangerous deflection, creating uncertaint. Our full backs are integral to our play, but need to be able to defend and hold position. Robbo has stood up well in big games against some great wingers. Moreno was giving Phillips way too much space and was not delivering the basics. When you see Robbo defending he watches the ball, choosing his moment to tackle and normally making it or at least holding up the attack by blocking play and jockeying for position. Moreno dives in time after time.
Time to move him on and bring in a replacement to challenge, and hopefully push Robbo further.Last edited by Buzzo; 22-04-18, 10:18 AM.Modifying post.
