5-2 should be enough but we were poor in the first half against City and we have these phases most games, so coming from a very strong position we've left ourselves a bit to do.

The Roma goals may have taken the gloss off of that win for a little bit, but a 5-2 win is still a fantastic result, and we saw a good team get made look very ordinary for long stretches of the game.


We will score over there, I have no doubt about that, and we are a team that neither of the other two semi finalists will be overly happy to meet in the final.


So many times during the game there were little moments, little bits of skill, that just put a smile on my face. Just think what we are going to be like next season when we add a few upgrades to our current first team, and before then we look odds on to have a very big night ahead of us in late May.


Don't let the final 8 or so minutes take the good out of what we saw tonight lads. We are a very good team that will get even better.

Roma finally made the tactical switch to go four at the back, and we had no answer. They overloaded our full-backs, and combined with us being complacent and running out of steam, they have their glimmer of hope.

It's still tough for Roma, as they'll have to go for it, and we have to be ready to exploit the spaces.

Gutted for Oxlade-Chamberlain, as the way he was moving around straight after the challenge didn't fill me with hope for how serious the injury could be.
