I'd take a draw but they will be right up for it. I think we'll have to beat Brighton on the last day of the season I reckon. We should be doing that with a bit more rest between games.Originally posted by Irishnev View Post****ing **** - never make it easy and yes I am annoyed but the last two weeks show how thin our squad is and the madness not to buy more at Christmas. We’ve ride our luck with injuries but now we are suffering because of it.
Now every game is massive - can’t lose next week vs Chelsea

Some quite strange over reactions in here today. Par for the course I suppose.Originally posted by Chris View PostAt the absolute worst we need to beat a Brighton with nothing to play for on the last day (and us a full week to prepare). Hardly a ****ing crisis is it? Dear god, some of you need to get a grip
Oh I don't know.

Don’t think anyone here mentioned a crisis. Merely that our performances sometimes are dire and that the squad is thread bare.

Equally if Chelsea beat us that’s one to play to get the 3 points. Put ourselves under undue pressure in the league.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostIf Chelsea win all their remaining games the most points they can get is 75.
If this stays 0-0 we are on 72 with 2 to play.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

All we can really tell from today is that our second squad isn't good enough. Which we already knew.
Other than that it's all about next week. We'll beat Chelsea to 4th, no problem.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Shouldn't stop us from realising we have a lot to work on ourselves, our approach against these teams is still not up to scratch and we all know the squad needs a boost in particular areas but so does the first XI
Another MASSIVE game
