change of formation didn't work, Ings playing too central. Missed the width of Mane/Robertson creating space

      Frustrating day

I reckon that there is about 8 points we've been robbed of by dopey (or corrupt? ) ref decisions this season....

Today, last week v WBA is 4 points alone

The Everton and Tottenham dodgy penalties another 4.....

I think there were one or two at start of the season as well..... ****in joke

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
          Mine angry and defrauded young?

Clear pull on Salah's hand and arm but no penalty. People are saying Salah was too nice and stayed on his feet. It wasn't that. Salah knows what would have happened, the ref would have played on and Stoke would have attacked us. Mo knows. He knows how **** or corrupt the English refs are against us.

The handball against Milner was less of a handball than a clear cut Pieters one. Yet the corruption knows no bounds. Its utter corruption or utter ineptitude. Take your pick FA.
            One tit for another.

IMO were we not in the CL quarters/semi finals we would have won the games against Everton, West Brom and Stoke putting us on 78 points with 2 to play. We had a dodgy start, W3 D4 L2 of our opening 9. But since then up until the Everton game we have been fairly consistent, we perhaps had one or two too many draws in December, but again for me that is where we need a bigger squad, the inconsistency comes in where there is fixture congestion.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Klopp with the Suarez non handshake with Mariner at the end of the game was missed.

Bar City, there isn't a team in the country that wouldn't switch places with us in a heartbeat and people are still moaning.

We put ourselves in a position that allowed us to rotate players and drop points at this stage of the season, so who gives a **** if we finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th if it allows us to lift no. 6. (If anyone thinks that we can't stuff Brighton at home with a full strength team if necessary, need their heads seen to.)
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Don't think it is that , some of us have been around a long time and are nervous at our failure to beat two teams in the bottom three which would have guaranteed CL next year.

We've all of us on here been around a long time.

But to not appreciate the mitigating circumstances of the recent results coming in-between the biggest games (City and Roma) the club has faced in a decade, with a huge injury list is to ignore what is going on.

I suspect we are slightly ahead of schedule being on the cusp of the CL final this year. I fancy we are going to really bolster the squad to enable us to be able to compete on all fronts next season.

I think most people would have settled for top 4 at the start of the season.
                              Oh I don't know.

Yeah, but who wants to settle?

Farting over the line into top 4 is hardly the finish any of us wanted. Id rather this was all tied up and he could play the U23 squad in the remaining games to give the others a good rest.
