Even if we do they wont score 3. Though you are right, there will be some on here deflated and moaning despite being in a CL final on Thurs morning.Originally posted by S-RED View PostJust think that we are due a blank in front of goal when these three play; desperately hope i am wrong, but get the feeling we will all be very deflated come Thursday morning.
GOD, I HOPE I AM WRONG

Absolutely.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostWe need to be clever/sly and play them at their own game. They're going to be fired up and we need to go down easily and roll around, it's the only thing refs seem to understand in the CL.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

This. Klopp's outward opinion was we need to go there an win. We're very capable of it, score early or threaten and that may kill the crowd or certainly the players.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostJust score early and kill it. I don't expect us to be negative, sit back or whatever. Play our normal game and pick them off.
The first twenty minutes are huge. Thankfully we now have VVD who is pretty unflappable. Others aren't.

Why are Mane and Wijnaldum mentally fragile? Both big game players IMO.Originally posted by S-RED View PostWe definatley need to be in full game management mode, my worry is we don't have that in our locker at the moment... It is coming you can see it, but we still have a few mentally fragile players out there. Karius, Lovren, Wij, Mane
Even Karius I'm not sure about. Had a few dodgy patches with us, but I'd put that down to form more than anything. He always seems confident, even when playing poorly. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Mane missed two great chances, had one offside then put away his fourth chance. That's not a mentally fragile player.
Wij was a sub, brought unexpectedly into a white hot environment, stood tall and contributed positively to the win. Again, not the result of a mentally fragile makeup.
As for Karius, you just described a mentally strong player! Backing himself despite not playing well. Was muß, das muß.

Did you see us v City away..? Even letting a goal in in the first 5 mins we played well.
We don’t lose many games, certainly not by 3 clear goals.Modifying post.
