My brother's been working with the FA and is going to try and get a ticket for my. I rate my chances virtually zero but if I get one I'll start panicking about getting a flight!

Failing that I'll watch down my local with my Red supporting next door neighbour. Bit of a contrast

We paid £700 for a day return from Luton in 2005, £700 now seems a bargain

I don’t know what to do, hate day trips, too rushed. But the hotel situation is a disgrace and if you go for an extortionate air bnb they can cancel on you if a better offer comes along. Will be loads of spares out there imo so anyone going without a ticket won’t have a problem.

I reckon a grand might get you a ticket there, £1500 is definitely enough

I did it in 2005 and Liverpool in 2007 - if you can afford you should make every effort to go as it’s a once in a life time opportunity. I was back from India after a year backpacking in 2005 and lashed it all on a credit card - so worth it.

I’ll go away from home for the night with the guy I was in Istanbul with - thinking Airbnb, a load of weed, a load of booze, pizza and then see if I go out to celebrate afterwards!!

I am hoping we can get a ticket having been to every home champs league game.

Missed Instanbul because of birth of baby and was skint for Athens.
