Hmmm, I just read that and it sounds like a bluff to me. Maybe they are being arrogant and dismissive. But you don't win so many CLs with the poorest, oldest squad with so many deficiencies (mainly defensive and some in midfield) by being arrogant.

I couldn't fathom why Uefa cheated (warm balls) to ensure there was no way Madrid met us in a two legged affair. Now it sort of makes sense. Real are fully aware what a fresh young team from England with a talisman striker can do to them. Spurs right royally fecked them over twice and would have a third time in the quarters (?) had they not spursy'ed it against Juventus.

In fact any of the current top three out of four (Utd are fecking **** ) would have the young legs and numerous goals to feck over the current Real side. Real know it and Uefa know it. And they're worried. I'm expecting some SERIOUSLY dodgy refereeing in this game.

In summary, they will set up differently against us. Less gung ho. Marcelo will do lots of defending (he's actually a very good defender, just doesn't want to be one). They will let us have the ball and probably win 2-1 with at least two or three major refereeing decisions: one disallowed goal from us or a clear hacking penalty not given and one dubious penalty for Ronaldo to win the balloon door. Maybe a handball against Karius in the penalty area or something. But I don't care. We're in the final and I'm going to enjoy it anyway!!

That is our problem.... not the amount of goals we ship, but when we ship them... we get punished a lot.

I am fully expecting us to fly out the blocks go 2-0 up then watch the match through our fingers for 70 mins and eventually concede the 2 or 3.

You have to. But the only catch is that your rod has to be at least medium sized so you can jolt the thing into action. The key is to produce circular motion as far as you can go, and then pop out. Do that at least ten times and see what happens.
