Also Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri having limited minutes gives us some fresh legs in the middle over the next few weeks. Even add Matip/Lovren into that.

I'm not dreading it, will be a good baromoter of how we can handle a big pressure game, if we're good enough to win the league then we should pass that test without much issue.

Dreading this United game - everyone is thinking its going to be a walkover because they're absolute **** and we're flying, but it has never been like that between these two clubs. They have always been our kryptonite. They would always raise their game for Liverpool in the 80s and they're back pretty much where they were back then - big expensive signings, flashy and no team ethic.

That said - we really can't complain about anything this year - it has been sublime. Klopp is managing this amazingly well, and the pragmatic approach feels like an evolution of what we were doing last year.

Loving Klopp, loving Liverpool this year.

No more Emperor's New Clothes eh?

BTW, agree with all of that. Not sure why some are coming across as complacent about this game. Still, it's not them in the dressing room so each up their own.
            Oh I don't know.

We certainly won't chicken out with Jurgen in charge

Some stupid crap always happens during the UTD games. I never look forward to these. They up their game, cuntishness, and jamminess to its highest level whenever they play us.

United game is going to be a tough one. Form goes out the window in these games.

The Rodgers one - it felt like the stars aligned and our name was on it then we bottled Chelsea at home. When we beat City I was convinced and even more so when I saw Jose field his reserves.......what ever happened to Tomas Maldini Kalas!!

This season - City just seem to have too many good players and we haven’t ‘clicked’ and.....and...... I think I almost want to talk myself out of it for fear of major disappointment.

Recent weeks though have shown signs of being decisive in vital moments and we now have real charcters in the team. VVD and Alisson being far better than I could have imagined - Nab and Fab ready to kick on after being eased in, one season Salah being top of the scoring charts again.......one thing for sure is I don’t think we’ll bottle it. If we can stay lucky with injuries we have a bloody good chance of it.....
I think this is a common form of self defence.

Agree with everything you have said though.

                              Top!

                              Only team left unbeaten

We're even catching them slightly on goal difference now

Got a sneaky feeling, against all odds, that Everton might get a draw against them on the weekend too.

Once Aguero and de Bryne are back the juggernaut will be back on track. We need to make hay now and hope that those two have a little set back
