I think it’s fair to say “we’ve clicked”
It’s impossible to imagine a better month.

I’d love to see the top 6 table on Dec 1 as against now.

    Amazing performance from the club.

Minutes on end. It's ****ing horrendous. After years of doing it, literally YEARS, day in, day out, I fear it, I absolutely hate it. But after we jump in to those moments we fear, we come alive, and we come out alive, and we feel better after it. Better to jump into the pool and freeze half to death than standing there and never jumping "because you might jinx it". **** that ****! GO FOR IT, YOUNG STALLION BRIGHTRED, keep the fire burning!

Weird you should say that. Was talking to my GP the other day. He said he was suffering a bit from stress and he heard a cold shower every day helps. He started doing it and apparently is now stress free. He gave me medical proof of it's efficacy but I zoned out.

        Thanks for the advice bud!

if we had won the CL we'd be third in the league with 3 games in hand to cram in after 2 games in the UAE for the club world cup, every cloud

We have 5 games after the City game that are 'should' wins. During that 5 game period there are 4 h2h matches with other top 6 teams not including us, obviously

Something nice written by Garth Crooks -

Finally, Liverpool's failure to prize the Champions League trophy out of Real Madrid's grasp may well prove pivotal. Luka Modric's performance in midfield destroyed the Reds and was aided by two monumental errors by goalkeeper Loris Karius.

The humiliation forced Liverpool to buy one of the best goalkeepers in the world followed by two midfield enforcers. These subtle but important changes have been instrumental in Liverpool's seven-point lead at the top of the table going into the new year.

But it was that Champions League defeat that exposed the truth and is the very reason why Liverpool might, come May 2019, consign City's record points tally to the history books and win the league championship title for the first time in 29 years.

I didn't know this but Liverpool became the first team to win all seven Premier League games in December!

Only City have come close (last season) when they won 6 and drew the last game.

Got to admit I'm absolutely loving all the tweets etc. Where fans of other teams are praying Liverpool don't win it.

We have had good teams in the PL era. I think Suarez was in the form of his life that season - he is the best player I have ever seen live. And I have seen several LFC legends going back to the late 80s and also the likes of Messi, Ronaldo etc. That game at home to Norwich - I don't think I will ever see a performance like that again. He had Sturridge pre-injury problems in the form of his life too - and the work that Luis put in and how much defensive focus he took from other teams - this allowed the likes of Sterling and Coutinho to shine as well. Brilliant from an attacking sense. When Gerrard was asked "who is the best player you have played with?" he doesn't hesitate in saying Suarez.

I think Rafas team that had Mascherano and Alonso in midfield - with Gerrard behind Torres - was ****in brilliant as well. It felt like we were on the verge of something brilliant with a load of players at the right age all coming into the form of their lives at the same time. What was frustrating is that he was so close and could attract top players at the time - but the club wouldn't stretch to it. So we'd end up with the likes of Pennant and Riera instead of Alves and Silva. Rafa was so **** close to bringing us back to where we belonged and then it fell apart very quickly.

Houlliers team felt like it would never really lose a game by a load of goals but it never really felt like we'd win the league either to be honest. He got close but when the final piece of the jigsaw needed to be found, then he tried to put in Diouf, Salif Diao and Cheyrou - when Duff and Anelka would have made the difference. It was like Megan Fox was standing in front of you saying "go on....help yourself" and you end up waking up next to Bet Gilroy!!!

This feels different though. Klopps team of this year seem to have the solidity of Houlliers defense with the attacking venom of Brendan Rodgers Suarez team. And the whole team seem to have a great affection / spirit with each other to top it all off. Considering that we are the 3rd youngest team in the league, then this year could and should be just the start for this team. That is the most pleasing thing - we will get better over the next 3 or 4 years. These really are the days of our lives as LFC fans.

Back to the title race - this game in the Ethiad on Thursday will be the day that this team arrives. The whole world will be watching and they will see what a real football team looks like. I can't ****in wait.

Out of the Big 6 'mini-league'. City have played 4 away and 1 at home. They lost 5 points in those 4 away games. Apart from a shocking United, they have played none of the big sides at home yet. All to play for.
