If we win we go five points clear with 39 to play for with an interior goal difference. I'm not massively encouraged by that tbh, it's still wide open (which is ****ing incredible in itself).

Yea it is mental to think we've only lost 1 game and are (currently) only 2 points clear, with a game in hand to make it 5.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIf we win we go five points clear with 39 to play for with an interior goal difference. I believe there is serious pressure on us now tomorrow night (brought on be not beating Leicester this week). If we don't win, City can go top on Wednesday when the beat the bitters. (let's face it they are not doing us any favours)
Still a lot of footy left to play, but a slip tomorrow there will be serious heat on us as to can we get over the line.
Lets hope we don't regret letting Clyne out on loan and not bringing in some defensive cover.

That draw last week has knocked some stuffing out of us / me.
Luckily, it's not up to us / me to react to it and get things up and running again.
With the Palace game too, it's like we're starting to revert to last season's way of playing.
Time for a return to focus and discipline.Oh I don't know.

Yeah if we don't win then City go top midweek ffs.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostWe need to win because City get a game in hand midweek V Everton.
The only thing is surely Everton are due a reaction after the numerous ****e performances they’ve had.... can’t see it tho - so the win for us tomorrow is essential. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

But the narrative is wrong. If anyone bottled it it was City last Monday. If we had played first and drawn and then they had gone to Newcastle and lost would the narrative be different?
Ultimately none of it makes any difference. We need to keep picking up results and ignoring the media hype.Modifying post.
