I feel that with them playing first it puts the pressure back on us so I hope it changes back soon.

I think of our next 10 league games 9 of them City go firstBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

City play ahead of us 6 matches between now and end of March - April TV matches haven't been determined yet for any fixture changes.
City play an extra game this Wednesday vs Everton due to them playing in the League Cup Final on 24th Feb. We both play same night on Wednesday 27th Feb. They play ahead of us for all PL games in March.

This title race is killing me already.
I think possibly it helps that we don't have too many local players in the side. There's only really Trent. This might seem harsh but I think the weight of expectation doesn't weigh quite as heavily on the non-Scouse players to bring the title back after all these years.

I'm pretty sure they can pick it up from learning about our history coupled with the media attention and the crowd. They'll be feeling it alright!Originally posted by Pablo View Post

We just keep winning and reduce the window for them to catch up.Originally posted by fah-q View PostIt can do but if played right it can demoralise the other side.
Imagine brushing teams aside then still not being able to cut back the lead at the top?
Imagine we're 33 games played still with a 5 point lead, we'd need 3 wins and two draws to clinch it!
I really hope Chelsea can take some points from them (and not us!).Was muß, das muß.

We aren't the best team in this league. Not far off at full strength, but we can't expect to out perform or even match city from here on in. How the **** we have so far is beyond me. Our results have been better than our performances and keeping that up for a season is beyond unlikely.
I'm not negative, or even pessimistic, we've done incredibly well to go out in front but we should not be expecting to win the league, and if people really do then expectations are out of kilter and that's worrying. We are challenging the richest club the league has seen who spend outside of the rules of the game and have no right to such expectations. I worry about what people take into next season, and what the fan base will think success or failure is. We were 25 points behind city last season, anything less than 10 is huge progress and a success in itself.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
