Klopp talked about squad depth in the summer, so we sorted it, only too go back too square one in january by starting loaning and selling players, no words really apart from it's borderline ****ing stupidity how he's behaved in january.

Yeah but you would have expected us to beat Leicester at home and West Ham away. There are no easy games.

Not a great day at the office for us, but we are maintaining a habit that has me quite confident about our chances this season.


When City have a blip or a bad game this season they tend to drop three points, when we have an off game we drop two points but still come away with one.

We need to go back to pressing and adding long shots. We're bloody laboured as all hell and boring to watch. Also too many draws. Can see us coming 3rd if things stay the same. Been lucky in too many games this season and that game should have been a loss. Extremely lucky.

I think that the lack of goal threat from distance, and goal threat from anyone beyond the front 3 and Shaqiri is a real problem. If you don't have to worry about a threat from the edge of the box teams can just swamp the front three in the box deny them space and we almost have no other threat. Also if the front 3 aren't getting goals and Bobby and Salah are off form at the moment, where are the goals coming from. The answer as we are seeing is Mane or nowhere.

I was bored so I looked into the league fixtures we've had in common with City.

After 25 league games into the season we've had 18 of the same fixtures (9 home and 9 away). We've picked up two more points than City (+1 home and +1 away). Their remaining 13 look a little harder too, so fingers crossed.
