Very demoralising but we'd all have taken this back in August. Gotta keep our ****ing bottle, the lot of us. Hard work though innit, **** me.

If we'd have done what we should have city would be a bit demoralised but we've opened the door for them and laid out the red carpet. It's sickening.

You've got to question the mentality of the team as when the pressures on they fall short.
Did we not go from 2 points behind to 7 in front towards the end of december?

Anyway, they're a game ahead so the table isnt wholly true. Our game in hand is against United, we'll see if we've got the balls for the the fight.

City do look leggy but I can't see Chelsea getting anything.

That United game is going to be absolutely nauseating. I worry that if we lose there - and it always feels like we'll lose at that ****ing dump - it'll knock the stuffing out of us. ****ing sickening prospect.

The only plus is Chelsea need the points with the battle for fourth now between 4 teams. Even draws are a ******* just now so if they can even sort one of them out it would at least be something..!

Then (assuming we beat Bournemouth we’d have to beat Utd away to go 5 clear and level on games in hand.

It’s going to be ****ing brutal.

Still, better than feeling the same but scrapping for 4th like we normally are.

It's no use whining about what the bitters do when we can't put away bang average sides like Leicester and West Ham when the pressure is on.

There’s no use in whining at all though is there?

It's up to the Manager and players not to lose their bottle. It's a shame we didn't go for it against the blue mancs when we had a chance to open up a 10 points lead.

Yes absolutely, but I never said it would be easy

It's mad how the CL run last season was pure joy, something to genuinely enjoy every minute of. This is just pure stress, we ****ing need this.

I go through a roller coaster of emotions, right now I’m very sanguine about the whole thing yet the Leicester game nearly ended me. The thing is we are not used to it so it’s hard to know what to feel. We crave this like no other fan base.......it was our right for years and now we see no mark clubs like Chelsea and City financially dope their way to the title and their fans don’t even care.

I’ve seen enough from City to know they are gettable so it we keep our bottle then we have a shot. We were **** vs Leicester and West Ham, riddled with injuries but we didn’t lose so at least we picked up something. It’s mad to think we only lost once this season so far and us fans are going nuts

Win our next 2 and we are laughing, even 4 points and we are top with 11 to go.

I fancy Chelsea with a full weeks prep, seem to raise their game against the bigger sides, not dissimilar to us recently.

We need a win against Utd which is a bit of a cunt. That said, if Chelsea get any kind of result then a draw against Utd is just fine.

City will still have to play Spurs and Utd after that and that's later when they should be even more tired.
