I've made peace with the fact that we'll probably finish 2nd. We've been amazing this season, just looking at the table and seeing us on 91 points is mental.

Proud that we're making sure we're ready to pounce should the unthinkable happen and City actually drop points.

        Me too.

We’ve been ****ing brilliant. It might still happen, but if not I’m cool with it. We could have done no more.

I’m ****ing gutted that we probably still won’t win No.19 after putting in such an outstanding season.

Just watched the opening goal again and Naby looked so happy in the celebration with the lads. He'll be the player we bought next season

As Klopp said after the match, him and Ox will be like two new signings

I'm both. It'll be gutting if we don't win it but it's impossible to pick any fault at this season. Just feels wearying

can’t fault the team. The reason I’ll be gutted is because they deserve it so much.

                    Just seen on Facebook

Liverpool today bettered Man Utd's best ever points tally

They really won it a lot whilst everyone else was standing by watching. Sky made them

Without wanting to get our hopes up

                      Form table

Burnley and Leicester both up there

Liverpool have now amassed more points that Arsenal's unbeaten 'Invincibles' team of 2003-04 and have 12 points more than the Manchester United Treble-winning team of 1998-99.

Oh man, that's so depressing. Our current team is clearly the 2nd best team ever

Am I right in thinking that any other team that has finished the season with more points than we have now have wrapped up the title with a few games to spare. Didn't City win it last year with about 5 games to spare I'm sure Chelsea have done it with 2 or 3 to spare a couple of times, it's crazy to think that we have 91pts with 2 games left and still are 2nd favourites to win the league
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not sure but 91 is the highest 2nd place score ever so stands to reason that once someone has reached 91pts they've tied the league up

But those sides who have gone on to get 93, 95 or 100 points probably won the title (mathematically) by the time they got to about 85 or 88 points and the points beyond that were won when the pressure was off.
