Another great trait of Milner is his talking to the ref - usually to slow down play, stop the opposition starting fast and allows us to regroup.

Absolutely dominated by Gomez and Van Dijk.

      Gomez is sooo fast.

Bar Gomez’s sloppy pass he was outstanding again.

Out fought Kane aerially as well.

I was a little disappointed with VVD not closing down the spurs player when they scored. The ball was up in the air long enough, VVD just ball watched, stood still and tucked his arms out of the way. One or two steps towards him and its almost impossible to score

It will happen (probably) but I can't see it.

We were all worried about Centre Back, but Gomez has probably saved us about £60m.
I said the same thing during the Leicester match. 1 minute later they scored.

Aye, after a dodgy 10 mins or so, Gomez was outstanding. Was very impressed how he came through that sticky patch and finished so strongly. Albeit listing to Neville, him and Trent were being ripped apart by Moura.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Sturridge was closest man, was he not?

Yeah - I thought Sturridge could have done more to throw himself at Lamala

Maybe slightly, but further away from the goal. VVD was way too passive. Small margins and all that, but they scored from it

he does a stupid little jump about five yards away from lamella and even turns his back on it...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

To be fair if he had then he would have injured himself
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Really poor from sturridge that. I could imagine that would make Klopps blood boil. Think we’ll see him play even less now ( bar carabao cup)

Watching back on MOTD a d thank **** for technology. Lino didn't signal a goal for us despite a great view of it looking across the line

I said the same in the match thead although expecting a 100% record from a lineman seeing that ball over the line is folly.

Damn, only just noticed what a goal Naby’s would have been. That all started with Godlisson and Godmez then Bobby then Mane and Naby at the end.

Mane and Robertson were brilliant for the second goal, we have a quality left side.

I'm tipping Mane to be our player of the season unless Milner can manage this level for the entire season.
