There doesnt seem to be much interest looking at the number of posts the past few years.

The women won their last match of the season 4-0 & finished 4th which is a good result in our first season back in the WPL.

Our women’s side just beat Everton in the League Cup 4-0. Any time we beat Everton is a good day

Even our Women beat Arsenal this morning to reach the Semi Final on the FA Cup. 1-0 away from home is a good result.

Hadn’t heard that our manager had left a few weeks ago so an interim manager is in charge.

Another player lost on a free....

Taylor Hinds to leave Liverpool Women after five years and join Arsenal

Arsenal are to sign the Liverpool vice-captain Taylor Hinds on a free transfer when her contract expires at the end of June, with the 26-year-old having decided to join the European champions.

The left-back played for Arsenal as a youngster before joining Everton in 2018 and then moving across Merseyside two years later. She has spent the past five years with Liverpool, helping them finish as high as fourth in the Women’s Super League in 2024.

The Jamaica international, who represented England at youth level, is understood to have been offered a new deal by Liverpool but, while they will naturally be disappointed to lose a senior player, they understand and respect her decision to move to play Champions League football next season.

Hinds was a key part of the Liverpool team that won promotion to the WSL with the second-tier title in 2022, and she played in every league game for that season and the following top-flight campaign.

The addition of Hinds strengthens Arsenal’s options at full-back, on both sides, because although she has predominantly played on the left, she is also capable of providing cover as a right-back or right wing-back. Meanwhile, the Arsenal full-back Laura Wienroither – who can also play on both sides – has been linked with a move away following her loan spell at Manchester City in the second half of last season.

Hinds received widespread praise and support in March after she spoke up about being subjected to “sexually inappropriate comments” from a spectator during Liverpool’s Women’s FA Cup win at Arsenal. The incident occurred while Hinds was receiving treatment on the pitch and a member of the crowd was removed from the stadium by stewards. Both clubs offered her their “full support”, while Hinds said at the time: “Together we can continue to make our sport better both now and for the years to come.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool are understood to be getting closer to appointing a new manager, having been without a long-term replacement for Matt Beard since his departure in February.

RIP former ladies manager Matt Beard

Liverpool Football Club is deeply shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of former LFC Women manager Matt Beard.

The thoughts of everyone at the club are with Matt’s family and friends at this devastating time.

Matt was not only an extremely committed and successful manager, he was also a person of real integrity and warmth, who will always be remembered with genuine fondness by everyone he worked with at the club.

He originally joined LFC Women in 2012 and built a squad that won back-to-back Women’s Super League titles in 2013 and 2014, and also led the Reds in their first Champions League campaign.

After returning from his spell with Boston Breakers in the USA, Matt enjoyed two years with West Ham United Women, including a run to the Women’s FA Cup final in 2019, before a spell with Bristol City Women.

He rejoined the Reds in May 2021 to rebuild the team and return it to the top flight of women’s football, which he orchestrated in his first season back in charge, winning the FA Women’s Championship in emphatic fashion and promotion to the WSL.

He parted company with LFC Women in February, following a significant contribution to the club’s development and many memorable moments and achievements during his multiple tenures.

                                Rest in peace, Matt.
