The change in us this season is baffling, we are obviously doing well in the league despite not playing well whereas in Europe we have just been total ****e. The attacking play of last year would have blown this group away, but 5 games in and we've lost 3 out of 5. We could still go through but we are making really hard work of it. The front 3 are way off it and the midfield has by and large been awful for much of the season, we seem to have lost our identity from last year.

If Isco is available in Jan we should jump on it. Would offer a lot in our current set up. Our change in style hasn't really suited a number of our players but if we can continue to grind out results I won't be complaining. It's been a sub par CL campaign largely due to the Red Star game. We couldn't have hoped for a better start in the league, so overall I have to be pleased.Comment

That midfield.... it is the reason we look so **** going forward this season. In my opinion only one of Gini, Milner or Hendo should be playing at any one time. Maybe 2 of them at a push when you are playing a slow team.
We need one of the 3 to sit deep permanently and at least one of the other 2 midfielders needs to be attacking and pressing with the front 3.
We need to start trying Fab + Keita + Milner/Shaq I think. Fab and Keita need to start getting game time and settling in properly like Roberston did.
Needs to be VD Gomez centre half too.
