We won a 6-0 game 1-0. Not sure which is more satisfying. I think it's definitely the 1-0!

I could disagree more, but any win was enough. We kept them at bay for most of the game really well, and they were playing 5 up front at the end and we dealt with long balls and crosses well, breaking out and creating sitters, it was just the finishing that was weak af tonight.

Great performance, it looked like last season except for the wasteful finishing.

Front three were rapid at closing down. Henderson too.

I've not recorded the game though, so that's as much detail I can give.

Hopefully Gomez will have fully recovered, and we can pick from him, Matip and Lovren for the first leg. Let's be honest, that is a step up from having to rely on Klavan and Lucas in the past.

The referee was horrendous tonight, but our pressing looked sharp tonight, and it did look reminiscent of last season at times.

Agree with your post except the first bit. The ref in our last CL game vs PSG was much worse.

We'll be fine, obviously better with Virg there but we won't fall apart without him, this team is too good now.
