I think we should have a change of tactics and set up a five at the back defensive line up and hit the *******s on the break. All the pressure is on them to come at us and we're good enough to soak up the pressure.

Fabinho does fit that role well ie slotting between the CBs when we play from the back. However, I can't see us playing 5 at the back. if Fabinho does play, it will be in midfield.

I can't see Milner starting after coming back from a hamstring injury.

If Milner is fit, I think he'll play (alongside Wijnaldum and Henderson). Otherwise, I agree with the above.

A little concerned with Fab still learning to not pass to the opposition in goal scoring positions. Got away with it in both previous games but City will kill us if he is still jittery. However if Milner really is not ready then Fab it is.

This is a concern. City will press and not give us much time to pass around. (Keita is probably our best midfielder at taking a pass and driving past players)

This feels like our most important game for nigh on 30 years. Obviously the champions league games were massive but irrespective of result I didn't feel the impact would be as big, The title is the holy grail. We have to win it. Although a win on Thursday doesn't give us the title, it gives us an unbelievable opportunity. It's ****ing exciting.

I thought at times against arsenal our passing was sloppy and if we give it away to city as often we will be in trouble. I also thought there were moments including the goal we conceded where our backline was creaking, it didn't look as solid as a team that has only conceded 8 goals, yes 8 goals ffs, should do. A lot is our own going when we start fannying around at the back unnecessarily.

I'm hoping that hat trick will mean Bobby goes on a run of goals now. If the front 3 could be more clinical in finishing and choosing the right pass we will be unplayable. I get the feeling it's coming. That should frighten our opponents to death.

If we were to lose, it's 50/50 imo, as City are a great side, I wonder how it would affect us. Hopefully we don't find out. It's just if supporting liverpool has taught me anything, it's we always seem to get ****ed over when it looks impossible to do. Enough of that. Let's go there, win, put down a marker and become the dominant force over the next few years. I'm going to be watching through my fingers.

If there is one fella that will be able to turn it into a positive, it is the Kloppster. He will laugh out loud while giving them all a full force slap across the face. And will say to the team "a real ****in team responds from defeat.....not go and ****in show that you are a real ****in team". We then have 5 games where we can go and win and continue as we have been.

But WHEN we spank these cunts on Thursday, then he will play devils advocate and say that City have actually gone to **** - so go and win the next 5 games and make it 15 league wins in a row or whatever.
