Gini been our best midfielder this season, no way he doesn’t start.

Would be a massive shock if he didn’t. He’s so important in these games.

There’s no argument for resting him either. In December he was rested for Burnley, only a sub against Wolves, and came off with 30 mins and 15 mins to go against Newcastle and Arsenal.

The mental toughness of this team has pretty much been their most impressive aspect. They don't seem to get fazed. A defeat won't affect them too badly I don't think.

A few weeks ago this felt like a ‘must win’, now feels like a game where we can afford to draw and a loss is no catastrophe.

Not that I expect the team to approach it that way but it makes it easier as a supporter.

Fabinho does fit that role well ie slotting between the CBs when we play from the back. However, I can't see us playing 5 at the back. if Fabinho does play, it will be in midfield.

Having fab covering any breaks through the middle can also allow one of the centre backs go wide to cover when the full backs get caught up the pitch.
Lovren is sometimes playing like a left back in defence as taa is still up the pitch.

Yeah, expected us to be going there 1 or 2 clear at the absolute most but more realistically a few points behind and having to avoid defeat to have a chance. Our December was brutal and there’s was kinder so to come out this far clear having won every game is just mental. Tough away games are hard to get anything from at the best of times, you’ve only got to look at their record at Anfield despite them being better than us for many of those years so it’s a nice comfort knowing if we lose it’s not really a big deal though I’m sure it’ll be made one!

There’s pressure on us of course but we aren’t the ones who are ****ed with a defeat. They are.
