Tough away games are hard to get anything from at the best of times, you’ve only got to look at their record at Anfield despite them being better than us for many of those years so it’s a nice comfort knowing if we lose it’s not really a big deal though I’m sure it’ll be made one!

There’s pressure on us of course but we aren’t the ones who are ****ed with a defeat. They are.
sky will be praying for a city win so they have some sort of title race to build up
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

100% all of the pressure is on them (as you say a defeat for us will be made huge in the press).

We are in by far the better position going into the game and I also imagined it would be the other way round, us desperate for the win to give ourselves a chance.

****ing madness really, especially as we didn't have the luxury of resting players in the CL like they did and yet we just keep winning and winning We obviously get loads of praise but I'm not sure we get enough for just how incredible we've been while also having to get through a CL group with two teams that you'd expect to draw in the quarter finals or something!

He will be considering the prospect if having to face the cameras and admit they have blown the league if we beat them
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Our defence and front three pick themselves.

The big question is which midfield three the boss decides to go with.

Shak will not start, despite his recent good form. Klopp will want to stick with a more “workman” like midfield. Barring any injury or fitness issues I’m convinced that he will go with Fab, Gini & Milner.

From a tactical point of view, we just need to keep the game compact and the crowd quiet. The longer the game stays 0-0, the more edgy their fans and players will get. Because they need to win this, all of the pressure is on them. They know that if they lose this one, it’s game over.

            I’m predicting a 1-1.

I think Klopp could pick any three and it would work for us (as long as it included Wijnaldum!)

If Milner is fit, I expect to see Henderson, Milner and Gini in midfield. Keita if Milner is not fit. But Henderson I think will start.

Fabinho is a must starter for me. He is the best defender/ tackler / interceptor of our defensive deep lying midfielders imo. And he’s not got a bad eye for a pass either.

Millie off the bench can cover RB, LB & as a CM to close the game out when we are 2-0 up.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

henderson hasnt been to shabby lately, and he is good at nicking the ball of someones toe, but fabinho is better at actually making a tackle, and immediately getting the ball moving forward.

I think we have the defence to nullify them now ,

I honestly dont think i would have any of their defenders in our team when last season would have their whole back 5

What a turn around in signing Van Dijk plus TAA and Robertson stepping up. Becker the icing on the cake.

I'd have Laporte. He's really improved this season. Probably second best CB in the league behind Big Virg.
