Yeah - it will be interesting to see whether we pick Pogba up by man or by zone....Klopp probably won't like the man-to-man option because of what it does to our shape. But PSG stopped him even getting good ball.

PSG man marked him out of the game and gave their LB very little time on the ball

I think the game will be won or lost in the midfield. Hendo was brilliant last night and you could see a concerted effort looking for the diagonal over the top which is good as we don't seem to have much guile in midfield to unlock defences. Gini who has been outstanding was way off last night, noticed that knee strapping too hope he's ok. Fabinho was the one in midfield who I think we really missed... he allows one of the other lads to get forward like Gini did vs Bournemouth. Somebody has to break out of that midfield to support the front lads... we cannot rely on the 3 boys to score in every single game. That wasn't an issue last season and we were so clinical but unfortunately the lads are not taking their chances this season for some reason.

I think United to try and press/counter & they'll be very physical. We need to match them for tempo and aggression. Herrera and Matic seem to sit which allows Pogba that license to roam... he's the one pulling the strings but Herrera is probably the biggest reason for United's improvement imo. PSG did completely nullify Pogba by man marking him, as green said above though I don't think Klopp will do that but it was a brilliant tactic that killed United. That said Veratti and Marquinhos are fabulous in possession aswell as turning the ball over whereas our lads are very workmanlike which is great but not as talented on the ball.

United are almost playing like we did last season, high flying, high intensity counter attacking football but they 100% do leaves gaps. Strangely enough our more conservative approach this season is probably the best match against those tactics. It's a really interesting game for the neutral whereas it's squeaky bum time for us fans as it's such a massive game. We will get chances and need to be so much more ruthless in front of goal than we have this season. Trent had a real shocker last night and will get a test vs Martials pace, I can't see him or Robbo playing that poorly again. VVD back, Fab back in midfield and another game behind Gini for his fitness. Should be a belter of a game!

Just can't see us winning, think we'll have a lot of the ball, huff and puff and they will score with a clinical finish on the break.

We have to score first otherwise they will drop deep ala Chelsea 2nd half. Almost impossible to get through.

I hope I'm wrong, hope we smash them, but my head says no they will **** us up.

They can definitely cause us problems, but Solskjaer has got to lose a league game at some point, hasn't he?

Would be very appropriate if it's Liverpool who burst their bubble.

They've been playing quite open. I'm not sure if they can afford to play that way against us?

The only way they get something from us, is by playing ultra defensive and currently that's not their game. I am as confident as you can be, considering its United away.

Am i correct in saying that we were the last team to beat them in the PL?

It would be nice to repeat that trick

Yep. Burnley got a draw there last month, hopefully we can go one better and beat them again.
