Well said Nicey. Klopp should use that as his motivational pre-match team talk!

I think its a bit of myth tbh, United will be looking to do us in first 20-30 mins. Keep it tight, I'd be made up to get to half time nil nil and readjust at the break.

This will be a high intensity, high transition game....the kind that used to suit us. Those lads are the best for the job.

Midfield is wrong though. Fabinho is the DM, Gini should be the most advanced of those 3.

Word on the Yaaanited street is Martial is not going to make it and Lingard is close. Martial got caught playing away from Home this week by his misus, hes carrying a knock and Lingard made a complete tool of himself on social media ... Happy days

We don't have a DM, Gini is the metronome, Hendo and Fabinho the midfield pressers and passers.

Disagree, he does the work of a DM, despite what he also brings carrying or passing the ball forward.

When we played 4231, it was him and Hendo as the 2 in front of defence.

When we played a 3 of Fab, Naby and Gini, Fab was the deepest, Naby as CM and Gini the most advanced.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Reckon Lingard will start with Rashford - otherwise they'll be lacking real counter-attacking pace... Martial will be on the bench. The key is definitely the midfield. Pogba needs to be closed down at every opportunity and deny him space. Herrera needs a ****ing hefty challenge in the first 2 mins... he's their ****-housery type player and will be snide as **** throughout, so needs a good rattling in the first few mins when we can get away without a booking... Pace out wide and smart, crisp pass and move from the front three a necessity. Been off the pace in the last few games so it needs to click against these lot or we'll get stung with a sucker punch...

If we press, score early and keep up the tempo, I reckon we could hammer them. Always a difficult game though... except when we had Andrea Dossena's pace up front ;-)

Milner is one of those old professionals who can get away with the odd clattering tackle and give the ref a 'wasnt me' look, maybe just the man to put herrera on a stretcher
