Man Utd vs Liverpool - Premier League (18/19 - Game 27)
If we'd lost that, it would've been a real downer. Seemingly knocked out of the title race by our fiercist of rivals.
As it was, we played for a draw and came away with a point. We're in poor form of late, and Utd are doing very well, so had we gone at it gung ho and failed the fallout would've been massive. We've got the games coming up now where we really can risk playing attacking football, even though we're not firing on all cylinders, we should have the firepower to win.
City have Utd and Spurs 4 days apart in April, plus a trip away to a Crystal Palace side who'll trouble anyone if they're at full strength.
We're in a good place and due to hit a bit of form again anytime soon. We'll win this away at Newcastle.
I think the Henderson bashing is a bit silly to be honest. I thought he played okay yesterday. Put it this way, when we saw Shaqiri being readied to come on, it wasn't a certainty for me who would be coming off.
What I did think in the first half is that Milner was getting loads of ball and space on the right hand side - and it might have been a good idea - just for 5 minutes - to swap Henderson and Milner. Milners use of the ball wasn't great.
I thought that the subs were a little bit meh as well to be honest. I would have liked to see Keita come on for Firmino. Let him run at them from deep - and perhaps have Salah and Mane switch positions up top.
What is also somewhat frustrating is that we don't seem to shoot from 20 yards any more. At least check if the goalie is awake every so often.
He always gets in the neck and always will. He is one of those players who will never shake off the hes not good enough smell because he came to us via Sunderland with the memory of a Mid Field of Xabi, Gerrard and Mascherano still fresh in our memories

I don't think we played for a draw our problem was the service to the front 3 was pretty poor (milner as the outlet all the time) and Mo and Sadio had really poor games, I do think the loss of Bobby was massive for us tbh and we got the Sturridge substitution wrong.

You know what I hear what everybody is saying including the Boss but ultimately no mater how anybody is trying to spin this, getting a draw away at United when they are on a ****ng tear, is a great result end of story.
